The pride in being a Nigerian is sadly fading away and this is worrisome, Mr Bashir Ahmad, who served as former president Muhammadu Buhari’s media aide, has submitted.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Mr Bashir Ahmad, who said this in an X.com post on Tuesday, added that it is unfortunate that unity and patriotism are no longer promoted in the country.
‘There was a time when Nigerians regardless of our differences, we stood united to defend Nigeria’s honour against any form of external disrespect. Today, that sense of pride and collective responsibility is gradually fading.
