2026 National Convention: Kwara PDP ‘Ready For Action’, Congratulates Kamaldeen Ajibade On His Re-election

Kwara State PDP has congratulated all party delegates, observers, stakeholders and members in the state on the successful conduct of the party’s National Convention in Abuja.

The party expressed confidence that with the presence of INEC officials who monitored the national convention and the subsequent official recognition of the newly inaugurated National Working Committee by the nation’s electoral umpire, the PDP has clearly surmounted its past challenges and now stands as a formidable and credible platform where people can aspire and contest elections.

In a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by its Publicity Secretary, Mr Olusegun Olusola Adewara on Tuesday, Kwara State PDP specifically commended its leader, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki for ‘heeding the appeal of party leaders to lead the Kwara contingent to the national convention ground and be part of this democratic history in the PDP’. 

The party further lauded Dr. Saraki’s relentless efforts at reconciling and uniting all tendencies within the party, noting that he made significant sacrifices to ensure the emergence of a cohesive and repositioned PDP capable of offering Nigerians a viable alternative to the current state of misgovernance at both national and state levels.

‘Kwara State PDP equally congratulates Kwara-born legal luminary and former Attorney General of the state, Barrister Kamaldeen Adeyemi Ajibade (SAN), on his well-deserved reelection as the party’s National Legal Adviser for a fresh term of four years.

The party celebrates Ajibade’s rare courage, competence, and dedication in defending the PDP and Nigeria’s democracy, even in the most challenging times. This re-election is a clear testament to the trust, confidence, and respect he commands among party stakeholders nationwide.

Our party also congratulates the newly inaugurated National Working Committee led by the National Chairman, Hon. Abdulrahman Mohammed, on the successful national convention. Kwara State PDP assures the new NWC team of its full cooperation and support to ensure that the committee achieves its objectives in repositioning the party for future electoral victories’ the statement said.
