2026 Guber: Osun APC Promises Issue-Based Campaign, Says Full List Of Campaign Council Members ‘ll Be Released Soon

Ọsun State APC Governorship Campaign Council disclosed on Sunday that the full list of members of the campaign organization and the campaign committees will be released soon while asking party members, stakeholders and the general public to kindly note that the composition of the campaign structure ‘reflects the party’s deliberate effort to build an inclusive, effective and results-driven team’.

Gubernatorial election will hold in the state on August 15, 2026. 

‘The campaign council and committee members have been carefully drawn from a pool of established and emerging politicians, upwardly mobile professionals, respected community and religious leaders, as well as members of civil society groups and youth organizations.

 This diverse blend underscores our party’s commitment to broad-based participation and excellence’ the  campaign council submitted in a statement issued in Osogbo and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by Engineer Oluremi Omowaiye, who is the Chairman of Media and Publicity Committee.

The Campaign Council has also promised issue-based campaign which, the statement noted, is in line with the core message and vision of the party’s gubernatorial candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) while submitting that the Governor Ademola Adeleke administration has failed to meet people’s expectations..

‘The campaign team will ensure consistency in communicating the party’s blueprint, which is practical, realistic, and firmly in tune with the socio-economic realities of Osun State.

We are confident that our party’s policy direction is well-positioned to address the pressing economic and political challenges confronting the state—challenges that have persisted despite the enormous resources available to the current administration.

It is our considered position that the present government has fallen short of expectations. Despite the huge allocations at its disposal, the level of projects and infrastructure development across the state does not reflect the magnitude of these resources. The gap between available funds and visible outcomes remains a matter of serious concern’ he said.

As the Campaign Council leaders and party members get set to hit the campaign trail, APC will according to Engineer Omowaiye demonstrate to the people of Osun State that it remains the most credible platform for sustainable progress and development. 

‘We will highlight that good governance is anchored on competence, integrity and experience. If governance were merely about financial resources, Osun would by now rival global models of development. The state would have become another London or a new Dubai, flourishing and progressing in prosperity. Unfortunately, what is evident is a lack of the requisite exposure, experience, integrity, and competence needed to drive meaningful transformation.

The APC Governorship Campaign team is resolute in its mission to present a compelling alternative. We will engage the electorate with facts, vision and a clear roadmap for a better Osun State.
