Akpabio To Wike: Stop Stressing Yourself Over PDP Intra Party Conflict, Let The Party ‘Die’

Senate President, Barrister Godswill Akpabio has asked the Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Barrister Nyesom Wike to stop stressing himself over the intra party conflict in PDP and allow the party to ‘die’.

He also expressed surprise that the party has not gone into extinction.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Barrister Akpabio, who said this while giving his speech during the inauguration of Akinwumi Ajibola Street in Gaduwa District of Abuja on Wednesday, also noted that it was Senator Olaka Nwogu’s recent electoral victory that made him know that the party is still in existence.

Recall that Senator Olaka Nwogu, who was the PDP candidate, won the Rivers South-East senate by-election a few days ago.

Saluting dignitaries at the event, Akpabio, who represented President Bola Tinubu said;

‘Senator Olaka Nwogu, who, to my understanding, just won an election. I didn’t know there was still PDP. I am sure he is somewhere, and so many other distinguished senators, members of the working committee of the APC.

Wike, stop confusing us. If a party has died, allow it to die.

So, members of the working committee, I won’t discuss anything on the working committee of the PDP. Like I said, anything that has died has died’.

The Senate President also said Barrister Wike has done creditably well while praising the transformation of Abuja under his leadership.

‘In the meantime, my dear brother, the Minister of the FCT, the performing Minister of the FCT, who has made his predecessors look like they came to drink tea in Abuja, all these things they are doing, I can tell you people are baffled.
