Gov AbdulRazaq Inspects Justice Saidu Kawu Court House Project, Expresses Satisfaction With Quality, Pace Of Work
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State on Wednesday inspected the ongoing Justice Saidu Kawu Court House project in Ilorin, the state capital, and expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of work there.
.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by Mr Mashood Abdulrafiu Agboola, who is the Deputy Chief Press Secretary, Government House, Ilorin, noted that the governor was accompanied by the state Chief Judge, Justice Abiodun Ayodele Adebara, and other government officials.
The governor said the multistorey project is born out of his belief that the judiciary — like others — deserves to operate in a very decent environment.
‘The work is going on very well. This is the major building of the Court House. We are trying to give the judiciary a better working environment.
We have seen what His Excellency Nyesom Wike has done for the judiciary and we are trying to give another great edifice and a masterpiece architecture that offers an enabling environment for the judicial officers. So, all we are doing is to make sure the standards are improved.
The judges shouldn’t be doing their work in sub-standard offices and infrastructure. So, we are also setting a standard that can be emulated in other parts of the country’ he said.
Justice Adebara commended the governor for his consistent commitment to the welfare of judicial officers in the state.
‘I am highly impressed and elated with what I have seen this afternoon. So, I want to, on behalf of the judiciary of Kwara State, appreciate His Excellency, the governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for the wonderful job he is doing for the judiciary.
Not only this one, he is doing so many other things for the judiciary. But, with regard to this, it will greatly ease our jobs.
We can see that our courts are just scattered all over Ilorin and when this project is finally completed, we will have a compact headquarters in Ilorin. Other courts will be able to accommodate more judges and administration of justice will move on smoothly in the state. So, Your Excellency, we thank you sir’ he added-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us? Do you want us to cover your event or programme?
