It’s ‘Double Wahala For Dead Body’ As Gunmen Abduct 3 Siblings Taking Mum’s Body Home For Burial In Benue

Late Fela Anikulapo Kuti’s song ‘Double wahala for dead body and the owner of dead body’ came to mind following the incident that occurred in Benue State on Saturday.

Three full siblings, who were transporting their mother’s body from Abuja to their hometown in Benue State, were attacked and taken away by gunmen

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the incident occurred at about 4am on Saturday.

The gunmen reportedly ambushed the vehicle transporting the body of the deceased person and her children on Ogobia–Otukpo Road, Ohimini Local Government, Benue State.

 ‘We heard sporadic gunshots between 3am and 4am today (Saturday), and we thought Fulani herdsmen were attacking our community.

But at daybreak, we learned that gunmen kidnapped some people taking the body of their mother from Abuja to Iklenyi community in neighbouring Okpokwu Local Government Area for burial’ Elijah, a resident of Omutele community, said.

Chairman of Ohimini Local Government, Gabriel Adole, who has reportedly confirmed the incident, however said he only had sketchy information.
