National Population Commission Chairman Dies In Abuja
Chairman of the National Population Commission (NPC), Dr Aminu Yusuf, is dead.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that he died in Abuja on Friday. He breathed his last at Nizamiya Hospital after the Jumah prayer.
The late Dr Aminu Yusuf, who had reportedly slumped at events multiple times, fell ill five days ago while preparing for a trip to Rwanda.
The deceased NPC chief, who was diabetic, had collapsed on March 13 during the press conference he presided over and also did the same during the official launch of the APLS 13 Report.
His body was reportedly transported to Minna, Niger State for janazah (Islamic funeral prayer) on Friday evening.
The late Dr Yusuf was appointed as Chairman of the National Population Commission by President Bola Tinubu in 2025.
