Abduction: Kwara Monarch Dies 16 Days After Regaining Freedom
The Onigbesi of Igbesi, Oba Moses Oyinloye, who was abducted after gunmen attacked his town at about 11 pm on August 22, 2026, and was later rescued unhurt in Elerin/Ijomu-Oro axis on August 27, 2026, by police officers who were assisted by the vigilantes, has joined his ancestors.
Residents of Igbesi, a town near Oke-Onigbin , Isin local government, Kwara State, have been thrown into mourning.
Oba Moses Oyinlolye has joined his ancestors 16 days after regaining his freedom.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the news of Oba Moses Oyinloye’s passing was announced via a short statement issued by the National President of Omo Ibile Igbomina, Chief Bisi Fakayode which was made available on WhatsApp groups by a veteran journalist, Mr Oyin Zubair.

The National President of Omo Ibile Igbomina, Sir Bisi Fakayode, has announced the passing of His Royal Majesty, Oba Moses Oyinloye Iwedunmoye I, the Onigbesi of Igbesi Land.
Kabiyesi, who was kidnapped on Aug 22nd and regained his freedom 5 days later, joined his ancestors this morning, Sept 12th, 2026.
