2027: Gov Abdulrazaq, Bala Usman, Jiyya Kolo, Moshood Bakare, Other Kwara Politicians Make The List As INEC Displays Names, Details Of Senate, Reps Candidates
Political parties that have fielded candidates for the 2027 senate and House of Representatives elections in Kwara State had the names and details of the candidates in question displayed at the state headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Olorunsogo, Ilorin on Saturday.

Political parties that have had their candidates recognized by the electoral umpire include Action Alliance, APP, ADC, NDC, PDP, APM and APC.
Those who had their names and details displayed include Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq (APC, Kwara Central), Alhaji Bala Taoheed Usman (ADC, Kwara North), Hon Moshood Bakare (PDP, Ifelodun/Oyun/Offa federal constituency), Senator Saliu Mustapha (PDP, Kwara Central), Hon Abdulkadir Oba Aluko (ADC, Ilorin West/Asa federal constituency), Mrs Florence Oyeyemi (APC, Irepodun/Isin/Oke-Ero/Ekiti federal constituency), Dr Rafiu Ajakaye(APC, Ifelodun/Oyun/Offa federal constituency), Mr Mohammed Usman Kawu (PDP, Moro/Edu/Pategi federal constituency), Prince Lekan Adewoye (APC, Kwara South), and Professor Fatahi Aremu (PDP, Asa/Ilorin West federal constituency)
INEC has also cleared the air on who the Kwara North PDP candidate is by recognizing Mr. Jiyya Kolo, thereby ending weeks of insinuations surrounding the vowed resistance of Hon.
