Sowore Meets Pastor Adeboye At RCCG Thanksgiving, Says ‘No Political Agenda’

A popular activist, who is also the AAC presidential candidate, Mr Omoyele Sowore has clarified that his visit to the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) headquarters on Sunday was entirely free of political motives.

Mr  Sowore attended the church’s National Thanksgiving Service in Ebute-Metta, Lagos, on Sunday describing the experience as highly memorable.

Following the service, Sowore held a private meeting with General Overseer of RCCG,, Pastor Enoch Adeboye .

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Mr Sowore, who commented on his visit to the RCCG headquarters in an X.com post on Sunday, also noted that Pastor Adeboye prayed for him and disclosed that he follows his work closely.

The AAC presidential candidate added that the popular pastor expressed confidence in his path and eventual triumph.

Accompanied by AAC National Chairman, Pastor Samuel Ajeigbe, Mr Sowore noted that the visit marked exactly 30 years since his first encounter with Adeboye at the same venue in 1996, when he (Sowore) was mobilizing anti-cultism campaigns after participating in the NYSC programme.

Despite the political undertones often associated with high-profile church visits, Mr Sowore maintained that the interaction focused strictly on national renewal and revolutionary justice.

‘The Church of God is ready for the revolution! We received a warm and enthusiastic reception today at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) headquarters in Ebute-Metta, Lagos, after I was introduced to the congregation.

The message of hope, revolutionary justice, and national renewal continues to resonate everywhere.

After the service, I had a private meeting and conversation with the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who offered to pray for me.

He stated that he follows my activities religiously, expressed certainty that my path is honorable, and said he is confident of my triumph.

Our first meeting was in 1996, shortly after I completed my National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). And met him while mobilizing the unlicensed Against Deadly Campus Cultism and The Free Reigns of Cult Gangs.

Thirty years later, we met again at the same place. I deeply appreciate the warm reception of members of the church, and our private conversation, and his prayers. It is important to state that my visit was not intended to promote a political agenda’ Mr Sowore submitted in the X.com post-Team@orientactualmags.com  Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
