Dankwanbo’s Inclusion In APC Presidential  Campaign Council Causes Murmurs In Gombe PDP

An unfolding development is causing murmurs within Gombe State political circle especially the PDP.

A former governor of the state, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, who is the Gombe North PDP senate candidate, has been named as a member of the APC Campaign Council and he is contesting against Governor Muhammed Inuwa Yahaya, who heads the campaign council.

Dankwanbo, who became a member of the senate in 2023, is seeking to retain his parliament seat and Governor Mohammed Inuwa Yahaya is the Gombe North APC senate candidate.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the campaign council announced by the APC also has Senator Muhammad Danjuma Goje, Senator Usman Bayero Nafada, and Senator Saidu Ahmed Alkali and other political figures in the state as members.

Senator Dankwambo is number seven on the list of the 666-member campaign council and number 6 on the 66-member advisory council.

This is coming at a time when the party’s gubernatorial candidate, former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Professor Isa Ali Pantami is fighting to have his k-legged nomination rectified.
