In September, 2022, the College launched its portal for registration for the fourth batch of the programme and it is interesting to note that within a few days, the College received close to 7,000 applications. This, undoubtedly, obviates the fact that Kwara State  youths are keen on vocational and technical skills acquisition. The selection process for the fourth batch has commenced and successful candidates would be duly contacted.

By the end of the year, the Kwara State Government would have sponsored over 600 beneficiaries under the YEEGS programme across the sixteen (16) Local Government Areas (LGA)’ the statement said.

IVTEC  has also announced  plans to hold graduation ceremony for the  YEEGS  beneficiaries at a future date .

While  urging the State Government to increase the number of the  trainees, philanthropists, politicians, industrialists, corporate organizations and all well-meaning Kwarans home and abroad were also asked  to support  efforts of  the State Government by sponsoring young people in the various trades at IVTEC , the statement noted that this , if done, will reduce unemployment and social vices among our young people  and ultimately ensure the development of  Kwara state-  Team@orientactualmags.com
