Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has approved the release of three million naira as financial assistance for the 58 new correctional recruits , who are indigenes of Kebbi state.
The correctional recruits are currently at the newly commissioned Correctional Training School , Birnin Kebbi , the state capital.
Acting Head of Service, Kebbi state, Alhaji Safiyanu Garba Bena in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Wednesday noted that this gesture of goodwill will enable the 58 successful trainees purchase a set of ceremonial dress /gown, uniforms, canvass shoes, among others, estimated to cost each of the trainees N65,000 .
He added that the support provided by the state government was also in preparation for the passing out parade that the recruits will attend on 25th , November,2022- Team@orientactualmags.com
