Kwara  Govt Promotes 9,175 Civil Servants In 3 Years As  2,096  Participate In  Promotional Examination

Kwara state government has promoted a total of 9,175 civil servants in the state between 2019 and 2021 while  2,096 workers are currently participating in promotional  examination.

 Monitoring  the interview aspect of the promotional  examination at the State Civil Service Commission on Wednesday ,  it was observed that  the exercise was thorough.

Some of the participants hailed Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for ensuring promotion of civil servants with cash backing as and when due.

 Mansurat Rasheed of the  Ministry of Planning, Bilikis Hameed ,  Ministry of Women Affairs and Murijanat Yakubu ,  Ministry of Planning  expressed satisfaction with  the conduct of the promotional examination process, expressing optimism that they would scale through.

Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission, Alhaja Habeebat Yusuf told Team@orientactualmags.com  that   the commission had promoted 9,175 civil servants  since 2019 under the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administration.

‘In 2019, a total of 2,767 civil servants across ministries, departments and agencies were promoted. We also promoted 3,327 in 2020 while 3,081 benefitted from the 2021 promotion exercise.

 And for 2022, a total of 2,096 civil servants have sat for promotional examination and are currently undergoing promotional oral interviews’  Yusuf disclosed.

The chairman, who was flanked by the permanent commissioner 1, Alh Isiaka Olohundare and Mrs Dorcas Afeniforo, permanent commissioner 2, praised Governor AbdulRazaq for his approval and prompt release of fund for the exercise.

She said the governor’s  kind gesture has boosted the morale of the civil servants in the state, adding that, ‘unlike in the past when civil servants were stagnated, they now enjoy regular promotion in addition to other welfare packages approved for them by the AbdulRazaq administration’-Team@orientactualmags.com
