Allegations That Ex-Deputy Gov Alabi Plundered Official Residence ‘True’, Video Evidence Available-Osun Govt

Osun state government on Friday claimed that it has incontrovertible proof that  Mr Benedict Alabi  actually plundered  his official residence in Osogbo, the state capital,  before leaving office on November 27.

Alabi  had served as Deputy Governor of the state between November 27 2018 and November 27. 2022.

Governor Ademola Adeleke’s spokesman Mallam Rasheed Olawale  asserted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Friday that video evidence was available to prove  allegations that the  official residence in question was plundered.

‘Our attention has been drawn to the statement issued by the former Deputy Governor of Osun state wherein  he claimed that  nothing was missing at the Deputy Governor’s lodge. We want to insist that the lodge was not only looted but  that the pillaging was extensive.

We have a documentary proof of the state of the lodge as at the time of inauguration. From the main house to the service flats, the place was stripped of all fittings and other movable items. The video in our possession was detailed and physical inspection has confirmed the ransacking of the house.

The defence of the former Deputy Governor is spurious and against the reality on  the ground. We urge him to take responsibility as the Deputy Governor of Osun State, Prince Kola Adewusi spoke from factual reports which can be verified by a visit to the lodge’ the statement said- Team@orientactualmags.com
