In Picture: Adeleke Makes First Visit To Presidential Villa As Osun Governor

President Muhammadu Buhari has promised to consider the requests for assistance made by Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun state. He made this promise during the governor’s visit to the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Friday.

A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that Governor Adeleke visited the State House to say ‘thank you’ to the president. 

The Osun state governor noted that he had come to appreciate the President for providing a level- playing field in the gubernatorial election that was held in the state of the living spring on July 16, 2022. 

‘I had waited patiently for this appointment, and I was praying fervently for it to happen. It’s a dream come true for me to see you and have a handshake.

 I am a beneficiary of the new Electoral Law that you signed, as it paved the way for  a free and fair election, ruling out ballot box snatching and stuffing. 

The security agencies followed instructions you issued to them to be fair and firm, and I am so proud of you. You are a true father, regardless of political party differences’ Adeleke said. 

The Governor added that free and fair elections would be one of the greatest legacies President Buhari would be bequeathing to the country, noting that this development was already being applauded home and abroad. 

He listed what would be his priorities in  Osun state  to include development of agriculture, education, and investment drive. 

Among  the requests made by  Governor  Adeleke  were; support on infrastructure development, a proposed new economic city and free trade zone, tax credit, and other Federal facilities in Osun state- Team@orientactualmags.com
