Pacific Drilling Ltd Not Involved In Borehole Construction Projects-Gov Adeleke

Pacific Drilling Ltd Not Involved In Borehole Construction Projects-Gov Adeleke

Osun state government has described as untrue allegations that  Pacific Drilling Limited has been asked to   handle the ongoing construction of 332 boreholes at different locations in the state.

Governor Ademola Adeleke’s Special Assistant on Media, Mr Oladele Bamji in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com asserted that the respective local governments are overseeing the borehole construction projects while the state government had only monitored what they have done.

‘The ongoing potable water provision programme is a grassroots intervention that is being coordinated by each local government and area council while the state government has only monitored them.

Participating firms are also locally sourced with the water and works department of each of the local governments handling the required procurement processes. The grassroots’ content has been widely acknowledged as the masses have welcomed the 100 days initiatives with open arms.

The conception of the pro-masses 100- Day programmes takes into account cost effectiveness, durability, maintenance plan and local ownership. This administration crafted specific plans including the borehole construction projects as a short term intervention to address acute water shortage that is weakening the health of Osun people.

It is therefore reprehensible fake news from the pit of hell to allege that a single company is handling the borehole construction projects. Pacific Holding is not involved in any construction project in Osun state. It will be recalled that Dr Deji Adeleke, who the blackmailer seeks to malign, was the first to announce his ambassadorship of good governance, pledging to monitor the new government and ensure commitment to peoples’ aspirations and needs’ the statement said.

The governor urged  Osun state people to ignore those he described as   agents of falsehood and blackmail submitting that his administration is committed to transparency, due process and open governance- Team@orientactualmags.com
