Adeniyi Adeyemi, Gbajabiamila’s Accuser, Arrested In Osun

 Director General of the Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council, an agency that has had its existence disputed, Mr Adeniyi Adeyemi, has been arrested and taken into custody by the police.

Mr Adeniyi Adeyemi, who raised bribery and corruption allegations against President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, was arrested in Osun State on Tuesday.

Spokesman for Osun State Police Command,  Mr Abiodun Ojelabi, who reportedly confirmed Adeyemi’s arrest on Tuesday, added that he was picked up by members of the Intelligence Response Team who were sent for that purpose from Abuja.

‘Yes, it is confirmed.  The Intelligence Response Team from Abuja arrested him here in Osun State’ he was quoted as saying.

Recall that Mr Adeniyi Adeyemi, who claimed to be the Director General of the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council, had accused Hon Femi Gbajabiamila of involvement in a ₦400 million bribery scandal while adding that he had also demanded a ₦27.4 billion take-off grant.

Recall also that the presidency had reacted to the bribery and corruption allegations raised against Hon Femi Gbajabiamila submitting that everything Adeyemi had said is untrue.

The presidency also called Mr Adeniyi Adeyemi Matthew a serial impostor while adding that he has been under trial since  November 27, 2025, and will be returning to court on July 27.

Team@orientactualmags.com reports that Mr Adeniyi Adeyemi’s arrest came a few hours after Justice Mohammed Umar of the Federal High Court, Abuja issued a bench warrant for his arrest following his failure to appear in court for arraignment.

 He is facing charges bordering on conspiracy, forgery and impersonation.

The police had filed charges against Adeyemi accusing him of operating a Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council that does not exist.

Mr Adeniyi Adeyemi was also accused of forging several official documents, including a purported presidential appointment letter allegedly signed by Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, as well as other government documents that made him present the Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council as a legitimate federal agency-Team@orientactualmags.com  Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
