Atiku Says He Had Deep, Honest Conversations About Nigeria With Amaechi During Visit To His Abuja Residence
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, who was on Wednesday declared winner of the ADC presidential primary, has visited former Minister of Transportation, Mr Rotimi Amaechi at his Abuja residence.

It was apparently a unity-seeking visit cognizant that Ameachi, who was Atiku’s co-aspirant, had on Tuesday found fault with the presidential primary in question.
‘Following reports of widespread voter disenfranchisement in most parts of the country during the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Presidential Primaries yesterday, I unequivocally reject the concocted results being announced.
I had initially stated that I would only accept the outcome of the primaries if the process was free, fair, and transparent, and I stand by my word.
I will not accept results from a process that does not reflect the values that the ADC had pledged to uphold, to rescue Nigerians from the impunity and gross mismanagement that our country is currently facing in the hands of the ruling party’ he had submitted in a statement he issued in Abuja.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar did not only visit Amaechi at his Abuja residence on Thursday but also noted that ‘beyond the warmth and camaraderie’, he had ‘deep and honest conversations about the troubling state of our nation’ with the former minister.
‘This afternoon, I visited my brother and compatriot, former Governor of Rivers State and ex-Minister of Transportation, Chief Rotimi Amaechi, at his Abuja residence.
Beyond the warmth and camaraderie, we had deep and honest conversations about the troubling state of our nation, the growing economic pain, insecurity, and the urgent responsibility on patriotic Nigerians to continue engaging in the search for solutions that can rescue our country from drift and despair.
I also felicitated him on the occasion of his birthday yesterday and teased that Arsenal’s historic triumph could not have arrived at a better time. Chief Amaechi, a thoroughly well-loaded Gunner, took the banter in very good spirits.
In true Rivers hospitality, he apologized for not having enough time to prepare Fisherman Soup, a delicacy I have now been promised on our return for the second leg’ he submitted in a social media post-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
