Emir Ajagungbade’s Mother Reveals Premonition Before Son’s Death…, Says ‘We Tried To Avert It But God Has The Final Say’
Mrs. Gbaale Oyeyemi, the mother of late Mr Olalekan Oyeyemi, who was popularly called ‘Emir’ and ‘Ajagungbade’, has revealed that she received spiritual warnings about her son’s tragic demise but ultimately accepted that God has the final say.
In an emotional video that surfaced online, she disclosed that she had a strong premonition that her son’s life was in grave danger.
Ajagungbade, a prominent figure in Osun State chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), was killed on Sunday during a violent power struggle between rival transport union factions at the Mayfair garage, Ile-Ife, Osun State. The brutal clash also left several others seriously injured.
In a viral video, the heartbroken Mrs Gbaale, surrounded by mourners, disclosed that she had strong premonitions and received explicit messages that her son’s blood would be spilled noting that she took all necessary traditional and spiritual steps to avert the tragedy, adding that she still holds evidence of her efforts on her mobile phone.
‘I did everything required to prevent this’ she lamented while noting that human efforts cannot override divine will.
Despite her profound grief, the bereaved mother sued for political peace pleading with everyone not to allow her son’s death or any fallout from the incident impact the Governor Ademola Adeleke administration negatively.
In a short sermon during the fidau prayer held for Ajagungbade in Osogbo, a popular Islamic cleric, Sheikh Hamad Labeeb Lagbaji (alias Ijoba1), described the late Emir as a good-natured individual whose history of philanthropy and good deeds only truly began to surface after his death.
Sheikh Lagbaji added that Ajagungbade’s death was within the knowledge of the Almighty, who remains the ultimate judge of the situation while strictly warning the deceased person’s friends, associates, and loyalists against launching reprisal attacks.
To reinforce his message of peace, the cleric revealed a specific song that the late Emir loved and frequently referenced in life, which preached leaving justice to God rather than seeking vengeance:
‘Ma sere mama sebi beyen ba sebi fire sesan oba Oluwa ko gbage ,oba elesan yio san esan’
