Hon Rotimi Makinde, a former member of the House of Representatives, who is currently the Chairman of Waziri Umar Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi, has sent a message of congratulations to the newly elected chairman of Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), Federal Polytechnic, Offa, Kwara State, Comrade Yemi Alabi
In a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com ,the former federal lawmaker noted that despite facing numerous opposing views, castigation and several attempts to pull him down, Comrade Yemi Alabi has eventually emerged victorious which stands as a testament to his resilience and determination.
‘This victory is not yours but a win for the progressives’ he noted.
While wishing Comrade Yemi Alabi a successful tenure, Hon Rotimi Makinde also prayed that his chairmanship of FEDPOFFA ASUP will bring positive change, strengthen the union and checkmate every abnormality that hinders progress.
