Former Senator Mandiya Found Dead in Bathroom After 72 Hours- Senator Ningi
Senator Abdul Ningi, who represents Bauchi Central, has given an account of the last moments of his late former colleague, Bello Mandiya, while also talking about ephemerality of life.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Senator Ningi, who commented on Mandiya’s death in a viral video recorded during his speech on the Senate floor, also noted that the former senator’s whereabouts were unknown for 72 hours before the Chief Imam of Apo became concerned that he had missed prayers for three consecutive days and drew people’s attention to his absence.
Senator Ningi said he was in Saudi Arabia when his son, who was among those who found the former senator’s body, called to inform him of his passing on September 7, 2026.

Mandiya, he added, was seen by a colleague at about 11 am on Friday, September 4 and he had returned home and was preparing to attend the congregational prayer before tragedy struck.
‘He brought out his cap, his phones, and put them on the bed, and went into the bathroom to take his bath.
After taking his bath, when he was out of the bathroom, then he slipped and knocked his head in the bathroom.
For 72 hours, Mr President, nobody knew where Bello Mandiya was.
And there lies Bello Mandiya in the bathroom, lifeless. Seventy-two hours, and that was a simple tragedy.
There is nothing permanent about anything. Nothing permanent about our position, nothing permanent about our wealth’ Senator Ningi said.
