Gov Abdulrazaq Calls KSANG Members ‘Outstanding Ambassadors’, Urges Them To Sustain Bonds Of Brotherhood

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq of Kwara State has described members of Kwara State Association of Nigeria North America (KSANG) as outstanding ambassadors of the state while urging them to sustain the bonds of brotherhood.

A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that the governor said this while giving his speech during the 10th Convention of KSANG in Baltimore, United States on Friday.

The convention had as its theme; ‘One People, One Vision: Strengthening Our Roots, Building Our Future’.

The governor, who was represented by a former Commissioner for Information, Alhaji Raheem Adedoyin, commended members of KSANG for their continued support and partnership with the state government which has according to him fostered development in the State of Harmony.

‘I commend you for being outstanding ambassadors of our state in your adopted country.  Through your professional accomplishments, philanthropy, knowledge transfer, and sustained support for communities back home, you have continued to project the finest values of the State of Harmony.

I also appreciate your partnership and support for our administration’s efforts to build a more prosperous and inclusive Kwara’ he said.

The governor noted that although security challenges continue to persist, his administration is however determined to tackle the challenges.

‘While our state continues to confront security challenges that are, sadly, a blowback from broader national developments, we have remained resolute in protecting our communities and advancing development.

Together, we have made significant progress in infrastructure, education, healthcare, social investment, and institutional reforms that are laying a solid foundation for sustainable growth.

Without being immodest, our contributions to infrastructure growth, expansion of the civic space and the local economy, and investments in education and health care infrastructure are unrivalled since the birth of this Republic’ he said.

Governor Abdulrazaq also expressed the belief that the next administration will continue the drive for infrastructure development.

‘As you gather in fellowship and reflection, I urge you to remain united, strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, and continue to place the collective interest of Kwara above every difference’ he added.

The governor noted that a united KSANG will always be a stronger force for the progress of Kwara State -Team@orientactualmags.com  Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
