Gov Abdulrazaq Says ‘No Drums, No Trumpets’ Ahead Of His 66th Birthday
Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, who is also the governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq will become another year older tomorrow, Thursday, February 5, 2026, but he has declared that there will be ‘no drums, no trumpets’.
The governor, who was born on February 5, 1960, turns 66 tomorrow, Thursday, February 5, 2026.
A statement issued in Ilorin and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr Rafiu Ajakaye noted that Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has never celebrated his birthday since becoming the governor of Kwara State in 2019.
‘Members of the public are again notified that H.E. Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, spends his birth day like every other day of his life — no drums, no trumpets.
This has been his personal choice since he assumed office in 2019 as the Governor of Kwara State.
He has, therefore, not authorized any celebrations in that regard.
