Kwara 2027: Blue Cap Movt Declares Support For Nurudeen Adeyemi, Urges Gov Abdulrzaq, Other Stakeholders To Back His Political Aspirations
The Blue Cap Movement, an APC political support group that was unveiled in Ajase-Ipo, Kwara State on Tuesday has positioned itself as a critical and constructive political voice ahead of the 2027 general election.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Coordinator of the group, Dr. Towoju Ade, who presided over the press conference held to unveil BCM in Ilorin, said the event was held to reflect on the group’s political journey, celebrate collective achievements, recognize contributors, and outline its vision for the future.
He described the Blue Cap Movement as a platform committed to promoting good governance, equity, fairness, and inclusive development, stressing that the group will only support leaders with proven capacity, competence, and integrity.
The Blue Cap Movement not only made declaration of support for Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi’s political aspirations ahead of the 2027 General Election but also urged Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, other APC bigwigs, traditional rulers and other stakeholders in the senatorial district to support him.
The group described Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun as a capable and transformational leader while highlighting his contributions to community development through the Igbomina Mobile Clinic, support for community-based security initiatives in Kwara South, and the establishment of ENACT Technology Hub in Ajase-Ipo.
The innovation hub, the BCM leaders noted, provides free ICT training and start-up equipment for Kwara South youths.
‘He has also provided boreholes and supported religious, ethnic, and community organisations with critical infrastructure.
On the strength of these achievements, the Blue Cap Movement formally throws its weight behind Engineer Balogun while expressing confidence in his ability to contribute meaningfully to development of Kwara State in any capacity he may serve’ the group said..
