Gov Yusuf To Kwankwaso: Tread Carefully, Silence Isn’t Sign Of Fear
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has warned his father- in- law and estranged political godfather, Alhaji Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso to tread carefully noting that silence is not in any way a sign of fear.
Team@orientactualmags.comlearned that the governor, who said this on Monday while addressing party supporters after Kano South APC senate candidate, Sulaiman Kawu Sumaila was elected by acclamation in Rano, also threatened to start ‘talking’ if pushed to the wall.
‘For us, Kano peace is our priority, but if we are pushed to the wall, we will open our mouths and talk. Silence is not a sign of fear.
To even keep quiet is an act of worship, not because we are afraid, not because we are kids. How could a 69-year-old call a 63-year-old a kid? It is just a personal respect that you are slightly older than me.
However, if an old man does not respect himself and keeps quiet, the younger one will have what to say. So, we are pleading with them in the name of Almighty and His Messenger to keep their mouths shut. Else, you will hear a lot of revelations’ he said.
The governor has said this in reaction to the comments made by Alhaji Musa Rabiu Kwankwaso in an interview with Trust TV submitting that Yusuf made a big mistake leaving the Kwankwasiyya Movement while recalling how he made his son-in-law and former Personal Assistant become the Chief Executive of Kano State.
Alhaji Kwankwaso, who had left APC for ADC a few weeks ago, is currently one of the leaders of NDC while Governor Yusuf, who has remained in APC, is seeking re-election-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
