2027: Group Promises Accord Party Presidential Candidate 3 Million Votes In Southwest
The Southwest Coordinator of Gbenga Hashim Solidarity Movement (GHSM), Alhaji Abass Olaniyi has submitted that the movement is targeting more than three million votes for the Accord Party presidential candidate, Dr Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, across the Southwest in the 2027 general election.
Abass added that this projection reflects the movement’s internal assessment of its grassroots mobilization prospects across the region, with Osun, Lagos and Oyo expected to provide the largest contributions.
‘Osun State is projected to contribute more than one million votes despite Governor Ademola Adeleke’s disloyalty to the party, while Lagos and Oyo are expected to deliver a combined 1.5 million votes’ a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com quoted Alhaji Abbas as saying.
The statement added that Ogun, Ondo and Ekiti states are expected to contribute the remaining votes needed to reach the regional target of more than three million votes.
Olaniyi expressed confidence in the movement’s ability to expand its grassroots presence through engagement with community leaders, youth groups, political stakeholders and local organizations across the six states in the southwest.
The projection places particular emphasis on Osun, where the movement expects voters to make independent choices in the presidential election, irrespective of political alignments involving leaders at the state level.
As preparations for the 2027 general election gather momentum, GHSM says the group will translate its regional mobilization efforts into measurable electoral support for Olawepo-Hashim and the Accord Party-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
