Helicopter Crashes In Ondo…Casualty Figures, Identity of Victims Unknown
A helicopter crashed in Igbokoda, headquarters of Ilaje Local Government, Ondo State on Monday morning.
The incident had triggered immediate panic among residents of the town. Despite search and rescue operations being swiftly activated, the exact casualty figures, identity of the victims and operator of the ill-fated aircraft however remain unknown.
Residents initially mistook the impact for a loud clap of thunder until they noticed columns of thick smoke billowing from a nearby forest.
