Ignore Media Reports, Gov Uzodinma Remains Our Chairman-PGF Director General

Director General of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF), Mr Folorunso Aluko on Friday described media reports claiming that Governor Hope Uzodimma has been removed from his position as Chairman of the PGF as untrue, false and misleading.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Mr Aluko, who made this clarification in a statement he issued on Friday morning, asserted that Governor Hope Uzodimma remains the Chairman of PGF while also submitting the APC governors are united and committed to their governorship duties and responsibilities.

‘For the avoidance of doubt, the report is entirely false, baseless, and without an iota of truth’ the statement said.

Recall that a popular television station and a national newspaper had reported on Thursday night that Governor Uzodinma has been removed as PGF chairman while noting that this was done during an extraordinary meeting that was attended by about 20 progressive governors.

The meeting was according to the media organizations in question held in Abuja on Thursday night.

The governors of Ogun, Bayelsa, and Enugu states were among APC governors that reportedly attended the meeting.
