It’s A Sin To Accuse My Administration Of Constructing Substandard Road Projects-Gov Adeleke

Governor Ademola Adeleke of of Osun State has submitted that it will amount to committing a sin to say his administration has carried out substandard road projects, asserting that the projects executed by his administration were handled by professional engineers.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the governor, who said this during the ARISE NEWS Town Hall Meeting held in Osogbo on Tuesday, also added that he usually visits project sites to see things for himself.

 ‘It is a sin to say that the roads I constructed are substandard. I used professional engineers. I used Nigerian engineers. I supervised their work’ he said.

The governor also submitted that ahead of Saturday’s guber election, he remains calm, steady, and not worried about the threat of ‘federal might’.

‘Iam a bulldozer. Let them bring the 30-something governors. They are all my friends. They all called me later to say they’re just playing ooo. They’re not the ones to vote. Some of them are well educated, not one Governor Okpebholo who came to my state. What type of name is that? You came to my state and you didn’t have clearance from me. These people are not civilized’ he said.

Governor Adeleke also accused Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola of dropping Mr President’s name while adding that the nation’s leader has during a phone conversation with him promised to ensure a free and fair election in the state on Saturday.

‘Well, as for Mr. President, calling me, like I said before, I really appreciate him for calling. But in terms of that freedom, I can say it here authoritatively. You know that my immediate predecessor is a cousin to the president and you know the president has a big job to do, most of the time you might not even know, so, he was threatening all the agencies that Mr. President said ‘this , Mr. President, did that’ . , Even Iam sure he was the one that went to tell the EFCC to freeze our bank account.

So, when Mr. President called?  A lot of people were  commenting, so, it was not Mr. President that said they should freeze our bank account, it was Oyetola. The president said he was embarrassed. For the first time, Mr. President signed a press statement to deny involvement. That he was embarrassed, that it is not acceptable. Because I told Mr. President, you fought for this democracy. So, Iam sure, you will not allow this democracy to go down. You will not agree to that. And  Mr. President, has  promised, free and fair  elections. It is politics, and it is local.

 It is Oyetola who is feeling the pain of defeat  And he has vowed that he will destroy Osun State by using and dropping Mr. President’s name to destroy the state. Look, he is not the only one from Osun State.
