Kano Governor’s Spokesman, 3 Others Released After Being Questioned By DSS For 4 Hours
Spokesman for Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State, Mr Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the state APC Youth Leader, Salisu Yahaya Hotoro, Ibrahim Adam and Nuhu Dambazau have been released after spending four hours at the Kano State headquarters of the Department of State Services (DSS).
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the four Kano State APC bigwigs were invited and questioned by the DSS following the petition filed against them by the Kwankwasiyya Movement.
In a Facebook post, Mr Sanusi Dawakin Tofa noted that he was released on own recognizance ditto the three others.
He also disclosed that he and the three other persons involved may face charges and appear in court on Tuesday while adding that he had his name included in the petition in question because of the song produced by a popular singer Dauda Kahutu aka Rarara at his instance which contained innuendos directed at Kwankwaso.
Noting that he did not realize the weight of the matter until now, Sanusi disclosed that he is willing to personally meet Kwankwaso and apologize before their arraignment.
