Kwara State Government has pledged continued support for private sector investments that are not only helping to create sustainable employment but also playing a transformative role in the state

The state government also restated its commitment to supporting investors and manufacturers through sound policies, solid infrastructure and meaningful partnerships.
The state Commissioner for Communications, Hon Bola Olukoju, who said this during the official ribbon cutting ceremony of the Wingate Exotic Hotel, Ilorin, added that the investor-friendly policies of the Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq administration have helped to attract investors to the state.
The new hospitality outfit is Mr Yemi Kolawole Taiwo’s brainchild.

Wingate Exotic Hotel got officially launched as new home for luxury, comfort, and service in the State of the Harmony at an event attended by Founder of Thomas Adewumi University (TAU), Oko, Dr Johnson Adewumi, Orangun of Ila, Oba Abdul Wahab Olukayode Oyedotun Bibiire I, Oba Moses Adewuyi, Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, Hon Bola Olukoju, former Commissioner for Information, Alhaji Raheem Adedoyin, Hon Ope Mustapha Saraki, Alhaji Abdulfatah Dankazeem, Mr Kola Raji, Hon Akanni Olaniyan Bamiduro, Alhaji Ajibade Adebayo, a member of the United Kingdom chapter of APC, Hon Tunde Doherty, Dr Saadat Yetunde Yusuf and other dignitaries.
















In his goodwill speech, Dr Johnson Adewumi, noted that the best way to develop a community is through education and creation of job opportunities for the young people.
He commended Mr Yemi Kolawole Taiwo for contributing to the economic growth of the state while urging workers at the hotel to support its growth and encourage the owner who had felt it important to provide job opportunities for young Nigerians through the establishment of the hospitality outfit. .
Also speaking, Alhaji Raheem Adedoyin, who noted that Mr Yemi Kolawole Taiwo is his friend and brother, added that being a widely travelled person he can say without fear of contradiction that it is a world-class hotel in terms of facilities while the Manager of the hotel, Mrs. Halimah Bello said the desire to bridge the gap in hospitality industry in Kwara State has been the motivating factor.








Mr Tunde Doherty also commended Mr Yemi Kolawole Taiwo for establishing Wingate Exotic Hotel and contributing to the growth of the economy of the State of Harmony while noting that as the Treasurer of APC United Kingdom chapter, he has never been found wanting.
