NSCDC Commandant, SON Coordinator Restate Commitment To Inter-agency Synergy During Visit To Kwara Customs Controller In Ilorin

Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kwara State, Commandant Abbas Nda Mohammed, and the state Coordinator of the Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON), Engineer Oyewopo Abdulrazaq have promised an improved synergy between the Nigeria Customs Service, SON and the NSCDC.

DSC S.M Suleiman, who is the spokesman for Kwara Area Command of the NCS, noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com that Commandant Abbas Nda Mohammed and Engineer Abdulrazaq said this during their visit to the Customs Area Controller, Deputy Comptroller Najeem Akanmu Ogundeyi at the Command Headquarters in Ilorin while adding that this underscores the value of inter-agency collaboration and institutional goodwill.

He added that Abbass and Abdulrazaq emphasized the need for greater synergy and mutual support among agencies in building a stronger and united national front.

‘Beyond the formalities, the visit of the NSCDC and SON officials fostered deep conversation, reflecting a shared desire for agencies to work hand in hand. Key issues includes strengthening inter-agency collaboration, deepening mutual understanding, and identifying fresh areas of synergy to deliver first-hand intelligence, meaningful strategies for successful implementation of government policies and agenda, and moreover enhanced positive impact on the people of Kwara State.

Deputy Comptroller N.A. Ogundeyi received both delegations with warmth and candour, expressing delight at the visits and reiterating that no agency can truly thrive in isolation.

He added that such partnerships are paramount to attaining effective governance and service delivery.

Commandant Abbas Nda Mohammed and Engr. Oyewopo Abdulrazaq also spoke enthusiastically about the great atmosphere at the Kwara Area Command, describing the engagement as refreshing, productive, and a clear reflection of leadership that inspires collaboration.

As the visits concluded, both parties resolved not only to sustain existing ties between their institutions but also to actively pursue new and creative ways to collaborate for the greater good of the nation.
