President Tinubu Swears In Ayo Omidiran, 36 FCC Federal Commissioners In Abuja
President Bola Tinubu on Thursday presided over the swearing-in ceremony of the new chairman of Federal Character Commission (FCC) and the 36 Federal Commissioners in Abuja.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the swearing in ceremony that was attended by the president’s Chief of Staff, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Mr Dele Alake, and other top government officials, was held at the State House, Abuja while the oath-taking segment of the event began at about 4:48 pm.
The new chairman of FCC is Hon Ayo Hulayat Omidiran.
Recall that her appointment as head of the FCC was announced on August 11, 2025.
Hon Ayo Omidiran served as Chairman of Osun State chapter of the Southwest Agenda (SWAGA ’23) ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
The ageless and brainy woman is a lover of sports. She is the Founder of Omidiran Babes Football Club.
She received a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Bio-chemistry from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1985.
Hon Ayo Omidiran, a popular politician in Osun State, is an indigene of Ikire, Irewole local government and she represented Aiyedaade/Irewole/Isokan federal constituency in the House of Representatives between 2011 and 2019.
