Ahead of the 2027 general election, Rep Blessing Onuh, who is the daughter of Chief David Mark, has won the Otukpo/Ohimini APC reps nomination. Her father, Chief David Mark, a former Senate President, is currently the ADC National Chairman.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that wife of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr George Akume, Mrs Regina also won party nomination in Gboko/Tarka federal constituency.
There are11 federal constituencies and 23 local governments in Benue State.
Apart from Regina and Blessing, other serving federal lawmakers who won party nominations include Ojema Ojotu, Apa/Agatu federal constituency and Rep Solomon Wombo, who represents Katsina-Ala/Logo/Ukum federal constituency.
