Saraki Congratulates Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki On His Turbaning As Chief Imam Of Ilorin

Former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has congratulated Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki Imam Fulani on his turbaning as Chief Imam of Ilorin, describing the occasion as a significant milestone in the religious and cultural history of Ilorin Emirate.

Dr Saraki in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his Press Officer on Local Matters, Mr Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir noted that the turbaning of Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki Imam Fulani is not only a great honour but also a profound responsibility, given the pivotal role of the Chief Imam in providing spiritual guidance and promoting peace, unity and moral values within the Muslim community.

The former Kwara State governor also added that the new Chief Imam comes from a family with a long and distinguished tradition of religious leadership in the Ilorin Emirate while expressing confidence that his sound grounding in Islamic scholarship will enable him to build on the enduring legacy.

He prayed that Almighty Allah (SWT) will grant the 13th Chief Imam of Ilorin the wisdom, strength and good health to lead with humility, justice and compassion, while serving the Muslim Ummah with dedication and sincerity.

Dr Saraki, who is the Waziri Ngeri of Ilorin, also congratulated the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari on the success of the turbaning ceremony.
