2 Injured As Bridge Collapses In Osun
Two people were injured after a bridge collapsed in Iragbiji, Boripe local government, Osun state on Thursday.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned they had actually escaped death because they were on the bike and riding over the bridge located in the Oke-Osun area of the ancient city when it suddenly collapsed.
Confirming the incident, the acting Public Relations Officer, Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, Kehinde Adeleke, said no casualty was recorded in the incident
‘The said bridge collapsed at the time when an okada rider and a female passenger were right there, the people around rendered help and the woman was rescued along with the motorcyclist.
No one died at the scene, but the two victims were seriously injured.
The victims were rushed to the hospital where they are presently receiving treatment while the collapsed area has been demarcated’ he said- Team@orientactualmags.com
