Eid-el-fitr: Bola Oyebamiji Felicitates Osun Muslims, Promises Good Governance, ‘Government For All’
Osun State APC gubernatorial candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, who is popularly called AMBO, has congratulated Muslims in the State of the Living Spring on the occasion of Eid-el-fitr.
Mr Oyebamiji in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his media office assured citizens and residents of the state of an inclusive, participatory, masses-focused and people-oriented government if elected governor this year, saying ‘let’s await good governance that will be the pride of all’.
Gubernatorial election is scheduled to hold in the state on August 15, 2026.
AMBO called for renewed devotion to faith and strict adherence to the teachings and lessons of the festive period while urging vehement prayers for a peaceful gubernatorial election in the state.
He commended residents of the state for their unflinching support thus far, promising to raise the bar of governance if he becomes the governor of the state.
He congratulated Muslim Ummah on the successful conclusion of the Holy Month of Ramadan while urging them to continue to cultivate the virtues of love, peace, unity and good neighbourliness as espoused in the Holy Qur’an and exemplified by Holy Prophet Muhammad.
‘As we celebrate Eid -el-fitr in our dear state and across the world, I sincerely acknowledge and congratulate our brothers and sisters in Islam on the successful conclusion of the precious month of Ramadan.
Our individual and collective spiritual dedication, devotion, generosity and benevolence in the Holy Month and beyond are testaments to our avowed collective commitment to propagating our faith and ensuring the emergence of a gubernatorial candidate whose mission and vision is anchored on building a state that will be a pride of all.
Being an election year, let’s use the occasion of this festive period to pray fervently for peaceful polls, in both the gubernatorial election in our dear state and the general election next year. It is time for personal assessment; it is time for sacrifice and selflessness to promote peace, unity and cohesion.
Let’s continue to be our brother’s keepers towards achieving our common goal of building a state where the rule of law, security of lives and property of the citizens and general welfare and well-being of the citizens prevail, are achieved and championed.
