2026 Osun Guber: INEC Says PVCs ‘ll Be Available For Collection From July 22 To Aug 7

Ahead of the August 15, 2026 governorship election in Osun State, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that the Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) will be available for collection across the State of the Living Spring between July 22 and August 7, 2026, urging members of the public, especially those who registered, applied for transfer of registration, replacement of lost or damaged Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), or update of records during the recently held Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) exercise to visit designated places.

‘To make the collection process more accessible and convenient, PVCs will first be distributed at the Registration Area level across the state. After the collection exercise at the Registration Areas, the exercise will continue at INEC Local Government Area Offices. The collection exercise is scheduled as follows:

1. Collection at Registration Areas

Date: Wed 22nd – Tuesday, 28th July, 2026

Venue: 332 Registration Areas across Osun State.

Time: 9.00am-3.00pm daily (Weekend inclusive)

2. Collection at INEC Local Government Area Offices

Date: Wed 29th – Friday, 7th August, 2026

Venue: INEC Local Government Area Offices across Osun State.

Time: 9.00am -3.00pm daily (Weekend inclusive)

All registered voters concerned are strongly advised to take advantage of the exercise and collect their PVCs promptly within the stipulated period, as the Permanent Voter Card remains the only valid document for accreditation and voting on the Election Day.

In addition, all uncollected PVCs from previous voter registration exercise will be available for collection during the period for distribution of PVCs’ Mrs. Oluwatoyin Babalola, who is the Resident Electoral Commissioner, INEC, Osun State, submitted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Monday.

The statement also noted that collection of PVCs is strictly personal and collection by proxy will not be allowed under any circumstances.

‘INEC remains committed to conducting a free, fair, credible, inclusive, and transparent Governorship Election in Osun State.

For further enquiries, members of the public are urged to visit the nearest INEC Local Government Office or contact the Osun State INEC Office through its official communication channels’ the statement added-Team@orientactualmags.com  Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
