Ansarul Islam Society Of Nigeria Elects New National Leaders
New leaders have been elected to run the affairs of the Ansarul Islam Society of Nigeria (AISN).
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that the election of new members of the National Executive Council (NEC) of AISN took place during its 51st National Delegates Conference on Saturday, July 18, 2026 (3rd Safar 1448 AH) at Muhammad Kamalud-deen University (MKU), Ogidi, Ilorin.
Alhaji Sarafadeen Alabelewe is the new National President, Professor Abdulbaki Abdulraheem, General Secretary, Alhaji Gesua Abdulyekeen, National Public Relations Officer while Alhaji Abdulmumeen Hanafi Ayarah Al-Adabiy retains his position as Life National Missioner.

In his acceptance speech, Alhaji Sarafadeen Alabelewe, expressed profound appreciation to delegates for the confidence reposed in the new leadership while commending the immediate past National Executive Council for its remarkable achievements, particularly the successful establishment of Muhammad Kamalud-deen University, Ilorin, which he described as a landmark accomplishment in the educational advancement of AISN.
Alhaji Alabelewe also praised the outgoing leadership for its unwavering commitment to preserving and promoting the enduring legacies of the founder of Ansarul Islam, Shaykh Muhammad Kamalud-deen Habibullah Adam Al-Ilory Al-Adabiy.
He assured members that the new National Executive Council will build on the solid foundation laid by its predecessors, strengthen AISN’s educational and missionary programmes, promote unity among members, and continue to advance the ideals and vision of Ansarul Islam across Nigeria and beyond.
