22-Year-Old Woman Stabs Husband To Death During Argument In Yobe
A 22-year-old woman, Zainab Isa, has been arrested and taken into custody by the police in Damaturu, Yobe state for allegedly stabbing her husband, Ibrahim Yahaya to death .
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that spokesman for the state police command, Dungus Abdulkarim disclosed this in a statement he issued in Damaturu on Wednesday.
The suspect, he noted, stabbed her husband, Ibrahim Yahaya, 25, with a knife at Abbari ward during an argument.
‘The command is saddened by the unfortunate actions of a couple that led to the death of a promising young man due to the consequences of an abusive marriage.
On June 26, 2024, at about 10:00 am, the C Divisional Police Headquarters received a complaint from a neighbour about the couple. The argument, which began at about 9:00 am, escalated into a physical altercation. Zainab Isa used a knife to stab her husband in the chest. He died from the injury before the police arrived there ‘ Abdulkarim submitted.
Zainab was said to have claimed that she did not deliberately kill her husband but rather acted in self-defence while being beaten and assaulted by her late husband.
