60th Birthday: Al-Hikmah Varsity Proprietor, Nurudeen Adeyemi, Raheem Adedoyin, Toyestic Among Attendees As Dignitaries Gather To Honour Olasupo Abbas In Ilorin
Alhaji Olasupo Abbas, an indigene of Igbaja, Ifelodun local government, Kwara State, who is based in the United States of America, had his heart’s desire on Monday as dignitaries turned up with enthusiasm and attended the event held to celebrate his 60th birthday in Ilorin.

It was a dual-purpose event that combined 60th birthday get-together with house dedication ceremony and it featured a special prayer service.
A celebrated philanthropist, who is the Asiwaju of Igbomina Land, Alhaji Raheem Oladimeji led dignitaries to the event.
Alhaji Raheem Oladimeji, who is the founder and Chancellor of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, was father of the day and he radiated love all through the two-hour programme.
Other dignitaries at the event include a popular businessman, Prince Toyese Oyinlola, who is popularly called Toyestic, former Kwara State Commissioner for Information and Ambassador of the Kwara State Association of Nigeria, North American Chapter ( KSANG), Oloriewe Raheem Adedoyin, ENACT Principal, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, Mr Fatai Toyin Sadiq, Alhaji Ladi Oyinloye , Barrister Tunji Balle- Igbaja, People’s Forum President, Alhaji Yusuf Jaji , Dr. Usman, an Associate Professor at Al-Hikmah University, Mr Tunde Abolaji and Alhaji Sule Usman from USA , a PDP bigwig, Abdul Rasheed Ibrahim, Alhaji Ismail Buruji and Alhaji Lukman Dosunmu.



A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that Sheikh Ibrahim Abubakar Dan Naibi , the Missioner of NASFAT, Ebute-Metta branch, Lagos, who presided over the prayer service, commended Alhaji Abbas for his ‘homeboy disposition’ while praying for Allah’s blessings for him, his wife and their family.

Asiwaju of Igbomina Land, Alhaji Raheem Oladimeji talked about his close relationship with Alhaji Olasupo Abbas noting that he had adopted the birthday celebrant as his son and mentee since his childhood.
He lauded Alh Olasupo’s dedication to community development in Igbaja, expressing joy that the birthday celebrant has followed in the footsteps of his biological father who was his close associate.
Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi, a close friend and associate of Alh. Abbas, described the birthday celebrant as a worthy ambassador of Kwara in the Diaspora with whom he had undertaken many projects in Igbomina land through their self-funded American platforms.


Also speaking, Oloriewe Adedoyin called Alh. Abbas ‘a great friend and dependable brother’ under whose influence in KSANG he had become KSANG Ambassador in 2012.
The birthday celebrant’s godfather, Prince Toye Oyinlola, was in his element as he bantered with Olasupo and other younger dignitaries who were excited to have him in their midst.
An elated Abbas expressed joy and appreciation to Alhaji Oladimeji, Prince Toyestic , other dignitaries and family members who attended the programme despite the short notice invitation.
He also hinted that he will soon make Nigeria his permanent base.
Alh.
