AI Voice Cloning: Police Arrest Young Man Who Sent President Tinubu’s Alleged Phone Conversation Audio To VeryDarkman
The police have arrested Ifechukwu Dennis, who was said to have used voice-cloning technology to make President Bola Tinubu said things he did not actually say which had generated reactions after the alleged phone conversation audio clip went viral.
In the audio clip in question, the voice-cloning technology claimed that President Tinubu said shocking things and also made inciting comments.

He had commented on security situation in the Southeast allegedly saying it is deliberate, he also said he had pressurized Mr Peter Obi to withdraw from the 2023 presidential race while adding that the sufferings being faced by Nigerians is not something that he is worried about.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the president’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga disclosed the arrest of the young man, Ifechukwu Dennis in a social media post on Thursday.
‘The IGP crack team has arrested Ifechukwu Dennis who originated the fake voice that he passed on to his gullible targets as President Tinubu’s voice. The police will issue an official statement’ he submitted.
Ifechukwu’s arrest was sequel to social media spat that has lasted close to 10 days which began after a video of a social media activist, Mr Martins Vincent Otse, who is popularly called VeryDarkMan, went viral on May 27, 2026.
