94-Year-Old Herbalist Arrested For Raping 13-Year-Old Girl In Adamawa
A 94-year-old herbalist, Mohammed Abubakar, has been arrested and taken into custody by the police in Adamawa state.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Mohammed Abubakar was arrested for raping a 13-year-old girl in Tappare ward, Ganye local government.
Spokesman for the state police command, Suleiman Nguroje, who tweeted about this on Wednesday, added that charges would soon be preferred against the nonagenarian.
‘The suspect is one Mohammed Abubakar, a 94- year- old herbalist in Tappare ward, Ganye local government . It happened that on 12/08/2023 while the victim was passing by the suspect’s house, he called her and asked her to enter his house and he took advantage of her by having sex with her.
Investigation, so far revealed that the suspect while committing the act rubbed some concoction in the form of perfume on the victim which made her get ill after the incident.
It was as a result of the illness that when questioned by her mother, she opened up to her about what had happened.
The incident was reported at the Divisional Police Headquarters Ganye, by the mother of the victim. The Commissioner of Police, Afolabi Babatola ,who frowned at the ugly incident, directed the officer in charge of the Family support unit at the command to take over the investigation and ensure diligent prosecution of the herbalist’ he said-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
