Iyabo Ojo To Lagos Govt:  I Won’t Pay N18.6m Tax Liability

A movie star, Iyabo Ojo, has submitted that she will not pay the N18,640,092 tax liability she has gotten from the Lagos state Internal Revenue Service.

The revenue agency had also according to her noted that she must pay the tax liability within seven days

Team@orientactualmags.com learned Iyabo, who posted picture of the personal income tax which carries the letterhead of the LIRS on  Instagram,  said she will not pay the tax liability and would be waiting to get arrested if they choose to do so.

She has however reportedly taken down the said Instagram post.

 ‘Jidesanwoolu @lagosstategovt, please, how do you people come up with these outrageous personal income taxes you send on a daily basis?

After paying different types of taxes for one’s businesses, house & all…. you still come up with all this huge amount and give me 7 days to pay up, lol.

Make I go thief ni? I ask again, How do you (sic) people come up with such outrageous bills.  I don’t know how much you think I get paid. Hence, your team will come up with this conclusion.

I have single-handedly raised my kids and so many others, plus myself without a single help from the government. Yet you feel so entitled to reap over 100 per cent from where you did not sow.

Nothing is working right in this country, but yet you feel the need to take from where you have not sown’  she had submitted-

 LIRS had asked Iyabo to pay a total sum of N18,640,092.00 as personal income tax within seven days or face consequences of defaulting adding that she has a tax liability of N7,376,000.00 for the year 2022 and an outstanding liability of N11,264,092 for the year 2021 -Team@orientactualmags.com
