Bauchi NDC Governorship Candidate Quits Party
Bauchi State NDC governorship candidate, Barrister Ibrahim Kashim has ended his membership of the party.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that he announced his decision to leave NDC in a statement he issued on Monday while noting that his resignation was effective from October 16, 2026.
Hon Kashim in a statement titled ‘A Message to My Supporters and the Good People of Bauchi State’ noted that he is no longer a member of NDC but failed to disclose his next political move. He did not also make it known if he will be picking up gubernatorial nomination of another political party or not.
He however noted that his decision to leave the party would not affect his commitment to the political struggle for the development of Bauchi State.
‘Our political journey is far from over, and our commitment to the rescue and development of Bauchi State remains unwavering’ he said.
Hon Kashim said he will continue to engage with individuals and groups who share his vision of a peaceful, prosperous, and economically vibrant Bauchi State while urging his supporters to remain calm, steadfast, and united, and assuring them that he will disclose the next phase of their political journey in due course.
‘Our mission is bigger than any political party; it is about the future of our people and the destiny of our state and country’ he said.
Mr Peter Obi is the NDC presidential candidate while Alhaji Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso is his running mate
