Former PDP National Chairman , Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje has submitted that the upcoming 2023 General Election would be a revolt against bad governance, insecurity, poor handling of the economy, and hardships caused by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara state and the country at large.
He added that the PDP represents hope and also well- positioned to rescue Kwara from retrogression and Nigeria from sinking further in 2023.
Baraje therefore called on leaders of the PDP to come together and work for the success of the party across all levels in the coming elections.
Also speaking, Kwara Central PDP senate Candidate, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, said there was a need for party leaders and members to put their differences behind them and unite in the interest of the party and the people.
Baraje and Bolaji said this in their separate speeches during the meeting held by PDP leaders in the Kwara Central senatorial district in Ilorin on Sunday.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned the meeting was presided over by the Kwara Central PDP Senatorial chairman, Alhaji Ishiaq Owolabi.
Addressing the PDP stakeholders, Alhaji Owolabi urged peace and unity among the stakeholders while also asking everyone to give all PDP candidates necessary supports.
Relevant issues including party unity , state of governance in Kwara as well as preparation of the party for the 2023 general election were discussed during the meeting.
