Suicide Attempt: Lagos Woman Celebrity Farida Sobowale ‘In The Spotlight’…What You Need To Know About Her

A popular female celebrity in Lagos state, Farida Abdulkabir popularly called Farida Sobowale, who owns a beauty lounge and spa at Akerele Street, Surulere, has gotten attention from the media and the public since Thursday after trying to end it all.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Farida Abdulkabir who is the owner of House of Phreedah, had cited frustrations and marriage breakups.

The female celebrity, who  had planned to commit suicide by drowning,  had arrived at the Third Mainland Bridge, Lagos , alighted from her black-coloured Sport Utility Vehicle and wanted to embark on a trip to the great beyond but she was however stopped from doing so by passersby.

No one around her knew she was feeling suicidal and it was only by sheer luck that she is still among the living.

 Farida Sobowale got married to a  man about town , Demola Okulaja, on June 2, 2023, after her first marriage had  crashed.

Being a celebrity, an elaborate ceremony was held which made her cough out money in the region of  N100 million.

 Iyabo Ojo, a movie star, has disclosed that she had a telephone conversation with  Farida Sobowale shortly before her daring move.

The actress added that she would have stayed on the phone with Faridah if she had known that she was feeling suicidal.

 ‘Hmmmm, my darling, if I knew you had this on your mind, I wouldn’t have gotten off the phone with you.

Of course, you knew what you wanted to do but you diverted my attention elsewhere. Story for when we see (cos you’re going nowhere).
