How Bob Marley Made Me Develop Interest In Reggae Music–Ex-Gov Elrufai

How Bob Marley Made Me Develop Interest In Reggae Music–Ex-Gov Elrufai

Former governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai, has disclosed that the late Jamaican legend, Bob Marley, made him develop interest in reggae music while calling one of his songs ‘Who The Cap Fit,’  his favourite.

Reggae is a music genre that originated in Jamaica in the late 1960s.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that El-Rufai, a one-time Minister of FCT,  tweeted about this  on Sunday morning.

Elrufai was among the 48 individuals nominated as ministers by President Bola Tinubu a few days ago, and though confirmation hearings were held for them, the senate however refused to confirm the former Kaduna state governor and two others;  Stella Okotete (Delta state) and Danladi Umar (Taraba state).

It was insinuated in some quarters that Elrufai had used the tweet in question to make reference to his recent experience.

‘VIDEO – Bob Marley of blessed memory is one of most talented musicians of all time. My love for reggae music is connected with his songs and music. Who The Cap Fit – Bob Marley & The Wailers is one of my favorites from the 1970s. Enjoy your Sunday with the song and lyrics that are timeless. – @elrufai

Man to man is so unjust, children Ya don’t know who to trust Your worst enemy could be your best friend And your best friend, your worst enemy Some will eat and drink with you (Some will eat and drink with you) Then behind them su-su ‘pon you Then behind them su-su ‘pon you) Only your friend know your secrets So only he could reveal it .

Hypocrites and parasites (hypocrites and parasites) Will come up and take a bite (will come up and take a bite) And if your night should turn to day A lot of people would run away And who the cap fit let them wear it!
