He added that once he notices signs of lack of fairness and justice anywhere, he will leave.
‘It is not office or position that we are interested in. It is our integrity, dignity and freedom that we are protecting.
Our political ideology as a group is moved by our commitment to fairness and justice to all. Anywhere we move to and there is no fairness and justice, I and my supporters will leave.
I have since notified the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of my intention to dump my candidacy for senate under the NNPP and I have completed the due processes.
We had told you our reason since we established a 30-member Shurah committee and they sat and came up with this decision that we are announcing today’ he submitted.
Welcoming Shekarau to the party, PDP National Chairman , Iyorchia Ayu, said the PDP would not be distracted by peddlers of lies while it has continued to grow stronger , ‘we’re going to win Kano and we’re going to win everywhere’ he said.
‘I want to thank all the supporters of His Excellency Ibrahim Shekarau, who in spite of the rain…defied the rain and have come here in their thousands. There are so many outside there that you can’t see within this arena. And I believe that God willing we shall overcome all distracting forces, we shall work hard as if our lives depend on it… and I want to tell you all that we are going to overcome whatever difficulties we may have.
Our party is getting more united, and we laud the efforts of our leader, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who has done everything possible to bring every member on board’ he said- Team@orientactualmags.com
